Skylake was almost a flop for the gain in performance over the last generation cpu. a pm951 of 128 GB or a little better sm951 for os/apps can work. If you want to keep the internal 1 TB drive, then I think you have to go with two readers of m2.

So just buy a disc, the samsung 950 pro and a box external usb 3 for the 1 TB hard drive. Is the Configuration 2 the best bang for the buck (or euro)?

I read the Page Tweakers on the configuration of the hard drive, but I don't know how to apply the knowledge practically while keeping in mind that I am not a super pro user with a huge budget but rather someone who wants to get better, but has a limited budget. Maniboard: Intel CM236 (Skylake PCH - H) (im not sure at 100%, I found this on another website for G752VT) But 4K is not a must, I would like to keep in mind when selecting disks. I hope that the 4K video editing will be possible on this machine. I wonder what is the best configuration of disk while keeping my low costs? I do 1080 p video editing in Premiere Pro (30 FPS and 60 fps) and do a job after effects. The computer has two empty 2280 m2 slots for disks SSD NVMe. I just bought an ASUS ROG G752VT-GC046D (German Web site link), which has a 1 to 7200 RPM HARD drive. The on board microphone is just not good enough and lacks options also.Best disk for my nice new laptop Asus ROG Configuration

Since this laptop only has 3 USB sockets it is rather frustrating with things like discord or teamspeak to get it to work with headsets. Extremely silly in my opinion and very restrictive, a long with win 10 issues and awful settings design it becomes very over fiddly and frustrating.Īlso only one socket for headset so you either need an adaptor for mic in / sound in or use a USB headset only.

I can normally find solutions to these issues through software but this stupid design decision seem to be hardware / hardwired into the design of the laptop and not changeable. My new issue is the microphone on my headset not coming through clearly enough and boost options seem to be missing in properties. Seems to have solved my issues anyway for now. I found a half solution where you have to manually set each app/program to high performance one by one by one by one to force them to use the dedicated gpu over the integrated.
